All i got to say about this last weekend (I was at GMX) is wow... it was AWESOME! This was not my first convention, but it was my first time cos-playing and first convention where it was NOT just a giant dealer room, those of you who have been to the San Diego Comicon know what I am talking about. I got to meet a co-creator and actor of Repo the Genetic Opera, Terrance Zdunich. He is quiet possibly the most down to earth and kindest celebrity i have ever met. Also there was a large outcry (from what i have come to understand) for some GMX boys for the alternative guy crowd and for the girl crowd to ogle at, after all us straight guys and alternative females have something to ogle at, why can't there be guys for the other side? Well my wife posted up for some unOfficial GMX guys and there were people interested so here i am unOfficial GMX guy prototype 1, along with the other 3 guys as well, devi-kun(prototype 2), zorthose(prototype 3), and turkishproverb(stand in protoype 4). We were a hit, the GMX Girls saw the post about us and were interested, so invited us personally to the GMX Girls' pool party where we talked to them and ConChair Lucas about becoming not official, but more of an "underground" thing to help promote GMX and to do some skits with the girls and by ourselves as more or less the "cheer leaders" of GMX. But that was after the costume contest masquerade, which my wife pulled me into a dance (btw I am a HORRIBLE dancer) and more or less showed off our costumes in a secret judging in which she won best in theme. Also the first night there was a "slave auction" in which we auctioned off people who entered (I entered...) to dance or carry bags and what not to raise charity money for St. Judes hospital. I made them a whole 5 bucks, which was 5 bucks more than I thought I was gonna make them. Over all it was a good weekend, well except for a makeup accident that happened to my wife, you should check her out btw she is my only watcher atm (asryakino) her journal about GMX is a lot better than mine... well kinda, she is a better writer than I am, then again i like to write in a free thought mode, which is why my journals are so... haphazard lol.
